Brian L Steixner M.D. is the Director of The Institute for Men’s Health at Jersey Urology Group. He also serves as Chief of the Division of Urology at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. He is a nationally recognized expert in all aspects of Men’s Health with a specialty focus on erectile dysfunction, penile implant surgery, low testosterone and sexual medicine. He completed his General Surgery training at The University of Pennsylvania. He continued his training in Urology at The University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, one of the busiest and most comprehensive urology programs in the nation. During his surgical training, Dr. Steixner published articles addressing erectile dysfunction, penile prosthetics, and male sexual health. He received the Clinical Excellence Award in Urology from the University of Pennsylvania and the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He has a particular interest in Men’s Health including erectile dysfunction, penile implant surgery, low testosterone, and issues related to an sexual medicine. Beyond his training at UPENN, he completed several specialized training programs including the National Urology Resident Preceptorship Program at the Cleveland Clinic, Advance Training in Erectile Dysfunction and Penile Prosthetic Surgery in New York City and Miami, and the Current Trends in the treatment of BPH training course at The University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his years of training, he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of men in all aspects of Urology.

Dr. Steixner places the highest priority on helping patients and their families to understand their medical condition and the rationale for choosing an individualized treatment plan. He is a caring and dedicated physician who develops long lasting relationships with his patients. He holds himself, and all members of the Urology team, to the highest standards of care to ensure the most optimal outcomes for his patients.
