Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction, ED, affects about 30 million men and is the number one sexual complaint to their physicians.  It is defined as not being able to get an erection strong enough for sex or not being able to get one at all. Jersey Urology strives to find the underlying cause of your ED and provide appropriate treatment to improve your sexual health and overall well-being.

ED can be caused by decreased blood flow to the penis, nerve damage, emotional or stressful life events, smoking, or it can be an early warning sign of a more serious illness like heart disease, high blood pressure or diabetes.

Peyronie’s Disease (add to ED page)

Peyronie’s Disease is a medical condition that involves a build up of scar tissue under the skin of the penis that causes it to bend when erect. This can make sex difficult or impossible depending on the degree of bend. The amount of curvature varies from man to man anywhere from 15 to 90 degrees.

If this sounds familiar you are not alone. 1 in 10 men may have Peyronie’s Disease in the U.S. It is a treatable condition.
