Meet the Doctors

Dr. Meredith P. Jankowski studied biology and fine and performing arts at Saint Joseph’s University before getting her Osteopathic medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduating in 2006 she completed a year of general surgery before fulfilling an active duty obligation to the United States Navy. During her four year commitment she was a flight surgeon with the Marine Corps and deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. During her time in the Navy she was awarded the Fleet Marine Warfare Device, National Defense Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Navy Sea Service Ribbon, and the International Security Assistance Force Medal. 

Following her time in the military she completed another year of general surgery followed by four years of urologic surgery at the Detroit Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Jankowski is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgery and the American College of Surgery. 

When not working Dr. Jankowski likes to spend time with her husband, two daughters, two stepsons, and their golden retriever, Bettis.

Dr. Michael A. Piskun, MD

Dr. Michael Piskun was born in Long Island and grew up in Rockland County, NY.  He studied Biology with a minor in Spanish at the University of Virginia while wrestling on the varsity team.  He graduated with honors a semester early and returned to Clarkstown South High School to volunteer as an assistant for his former high school wrestling team that season.  Dr. Piskun then attended Georgetown University school of medicine and graduated in 2001.  After graduation, Dr. Piskun completed Urology residency at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA and joined Jersey Urology Group in 2006. 

 In 2008, Dr. Piskun was featured on Health Today in an NBC40 TV special “Kidney Cancer Surgery: Watch This Surgery”.  In 2009 he was recognized in the community as a ”Top 40 under 40” award winner by the Atlantic City Jaycees.  He has been recognized as a NJ Top Doctor from 2018-2022

Dr. Piskun currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Compliance Officer for Jersey Urology Group.  He is married with 3 children and lives in Egg Harbor Township.  He is active in the community, coaching youth baseball and wrestling for over a decade.   

Dr. Todd J. Lehrfeld, MD

Dr. Todd Lehrfeld was born in Rockland County, NY. He studied Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and later obtained his Medical Doctorate at Boston University School of Medicine. He returned to Baltimore to complete his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He then completed a one year fellowship in Minimally invasive Urology at the University of Pennsylvania. During his training, he published articles and lectured on bladder and sexual dysfunction, urologic oncology, and minimally invasive urology.

Dr. Lehrfeld also obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, and has become a specialist in Medical Informatics, a field which focuses on advancing the quality of health care delivered by utilizing the efficient use of technology. Dr. Lehrfeld is one of fewer than five urologists in the country who is dual board certified in both Urology and Clinical Informatics. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer at Jersey Urology Group, and also performs consulting work for other physician groups as well as health systems to help them improve their efficiency and the quality of care provided to patients and to the community.

Dr. Lehrfeld currently resides in Egg Harbor Township, NJ with his two daughters and mini-golden doodle.

Dr. Andrew L. Hirsh, MD

Dr. Andrew L. Hirsh is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and an expert in male and female voiding dysfunction. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and completed his post-baccalaureate in Premedical Sciences at Columbia University. From there, he went on to medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he graduated after being inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Hirsh then completed an internship in General Surgery at Columbia University in New York, and a Residency in Urology also at Columbia University. He served as Chief Resident in Urology from 2009-2010. At Columbia, Dr. Hirsh was fortunate to train under numerous leaders in the advancing minimally invasive techniques in Urology. In New York, Dr. Hirsh won second prize at the Valentine Resident Research Contest for his research in advanced urology.
